Splatter Studio is a creative, messy, feel-good paint experience in Gravesend, created by Alex and Monique Souter. It is built for anyone who wants to switch off, get colourful and take home a piece of artwork full of happy memories.
Our Story
From creative adventures to creative chaos
Alex and Monique Souter had wanted to bring this fantastic concept to life for years. Finally, the right time and the right space came together, allowing us to create Splatter Studio exactly how we wanted it.
Although Splatter Studio has only been open for a matter of months, we have already welcomed thousands of painters through our doors. Families, friends, couples, birthday groups, team-building groups and first-time artists have all stepped into the studio, picked up the paint and created something completely unique.
Through The Panic Room, we have always been able to be creative by building a wide range of adventures and immersive experiences. Splatter Studio is something different. It is not about solving puzzles or beating the clock. It is about letting go, making a mess, having fun and creating something that is entirely your own.
Creative without pressure
No art skills are needed. Throw, flick, drip and splash paint however you like. The best part is that there is no wrong way to do it.
Relaxing and cathartic
Splatter Studio is designed to feel fun, freeing and surprisingly therapeutic. It is a chance to switch off and enjoy the moment.

Why We Made It
An experience made for everyone
We wanted to create something that could be enjoyed by almost anyone. Splatter Studio is great for children, adults, families, couples, friends, birthday parties and teams. It is playful, colourful and relaxed, but it still gives every guest something personal to take away at the end.
For us, that is what makes it special. You are not just coming along to paint. You are creating a memory, sharing a laugh and leaving with your own piece of artwork that could only have been made by you.
